After the Ball:
A Woman's Tale of Reclaiming Happily Ever After
by Barb Greenberg
Divorced after thirty-three years, Barb worked through her pain, found healing and wholeness, and was determined to share what she had learned. Her book After the Ball, which began as a story for divorced and divorcing women, blossomed into a tale for all women seeking to reconnect with their strength and power and wisdom. As with her first book, Hope Grew Round Me, Barb uses her personal experience to inspire courage and offer hope to her readers.

Hope Grew Round Me:
A Daughter's Life-Threatening Accident Plants the Seeds of a Mother's Self-Discovery
by Barb Greenberg
The middle of the night phone call...
The flight half way around the world...
The vigil by a daughter's hospital bed...
As her child heals, a mother discovers pieces of herself that are broken and damaged. And while mother and daughter take different journeys, both lives are repaired.
This is one woman's journey from crisis to transformation. Though it is a personal account, the themes of courage and healing and of love are universal. We each have our own journey to take and every one is unique in its details. By sharing her story, Barb hopes to inspire and encourage others to honor every step.
Hope Grew Round Me Reviews
“Hope Grew Round Me” is a memoir, beautifully written by author Barb Greenberg, which focuses on the series of events that followed a middle of the night phone call advising Barb and her husband that their daughter had been seriously injured in an accident nearly 10,000 miles away in Australia. In those first moments and hours, Barb describes the anxiety, the uncertainty, the confusion, the anguish and the desperation as they make phone calls and flight plans and a hurried rush to the airport. Told in such heart wrenching words, the reader feels the breath caught in one’s throat, the enhanced sounds, the feeling of helplessness and fear as it took hours and hours to reach their daughter’s bedside.
